Qatar, Mauritania sign several important agreements
Qatar and Mauritania signed several bilateral agreements in the areas of trade, the economy and aviation. This came after the visit made by the President of Mauritania Mu'aweya Wild Taye' to Doha, during which he met with the Amir of Qatar, Shaikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Mauritania defends normalization with Israel
Mauritania's foreign minister Muhammad Val Weld Bilal has defended his country's relations with Israel. He said in a press conference in Doha that Nouakchott's relations with Tel Aviv do not contradict with the interests of the Palestinian people.
