UN peacekeeping official meets Mauritanian president over Sahara issue
The United Nations' assistant secretary general for peacekeeping operations, Bernard Miyet, who is visiting the Maghreb for talks on the Sahara issue, met Tuesday in Nouakchott with Mauritanian President Mouaouiya Ould Sid Ahmed Taya.
