The Flash airliner was in 100 % perfect condition before plunging into the Red Sea and all technical aspects were properly checked before take-off, Civil Aviation Minister Ahmed Shafik said on Friday.

Six killed in an explosion near a mosque in Baqouba
Six persons were killed and 37 wounded, at least, in a bomb explosion near a mosque for the Shiite, following Friday's prayers in Baqouba city, to the north of Baghdad. News reports said that the bomb went off after worshippers got out of al-Haj Sadeq Banin mosque, in the downtown of the city.

Iraqi killed, American soldiers wounded in Baghdad explosion
Four American soldiers were wounded in two separate attacks for the Iraqi resistance.
