Legal committee calls on Libya to open Bu Sleim prison file
The solidarity society for human rights which takes Geneva as a headquarters said that 8 years after the elapse of what is called " Bu Sleim prison massacre," committed by the Libyan security forces against the prisoners who had announced rebellion inside the jail -- the Libyan authorities did not take any practical measures to deal with this file.

Washington resumes diplomatic relations with Tripoli
The US yesterday resumed its diplomatic relations with Libya following a cessation that lasted for 24 years. The US under secretary of state William Burns officially inaugurated the new American Liaison office in Tripoli.

American delegation arrives in Libya to assess its support for terrorism
An American delegation composed of the US under secretary of state for the Middle East affairs William Burns and coordinator of terrorism fighting at the state department Kofer Black arrived in Libya on Sunday in a two day visit in order to assess whether Tripoli is still sponsoring terrorism.
