AL chief heads for Libya today, hoping Libya change its mind
The secretary general of the Arab league (AL) Amr Moussa will head today for Libya to meet with Libya's Leader of the Revolution Colonel Muammar al Qathafi with the aim of settling the crisis raised by Tripoli's determination to withdraw from the Arab League.

Libya decides to withdraw from the Arab League
Sources at the AL said that Mousa will head for Libya within hours in an attempt to make Tripoli change its new position. Moussa had visited Libya in an attempt to calm down the anger of the Libyan leader Qaddafi who said in the celebration of September 1st of the Libyan revolution that he feels ashamed to be an Arab while the Arab leaders are doing nothing to confronting the Israeli oppressive policy against the Palestinian at the support of the US.

France's Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin and the Libyan counterpart Abdul Rahman Shalqam yesterday in Paris opened works of the French- Libyan joint committee, which meets for the first time since 20 years.
