UN Security Council calls Syria to detain suspects in Hariri murder
The United Nation Security Council unanimously called on Syria to detain Syrian suspects identified by the independent UN probe into the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri, and to clarify all unresolved issues, threatening "further action" in the case of non-compliance.

Syria starts its own investigation committee into Hariri assassination
Coupled with the diplomatic moves, the Syrian president basher al-Assad on Saturday decided, according to a presidential decree to form a "special judicial committee" that directly "assumes the measures to the investigation in collaboration with the UN investigation committee and with the Lebanese judicial authorities."

A well- informed Lebanese source told the Lebanese daily Assafir that the Egyptian security forces held in custody on Friday evening in Cairo the employee in Madina Bank, Rana Qleilat, after an official request was submitted to the Interpol for her arrest.
