Lebanese demonstrations demanding the resignation of Lahoud
The Syrian denial of any involvement to the assassination of Rafiq al-Hariri coincided with demonstrations organized by 2000 Lebanese, supporters of the Independent al-Mustaqil trend on Friday evening near the tomb of al-Hariri in the downtown of Beirut, demanding the resignation of the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud.
