Smugglers arrested on the Syrian- Lebanese borders
The Lebanese security forces with support of the Syrian forces working in North Lebanon have arrested a gang for smuggling goods through the Lebanese- Syrian borders.

Killings in Ein al-Helweh camp; al-Dennyeh group chased
Security measures are being taken in line with the continued political efforts to prevent re-eruption of a military explosion in Ein al-Helweh camp for the Palestinian refugees in South Lebanon. This was following the "killing of two persons and wounding others in clashes that erupted between members of the Fatah movement, on the one hand, and members of "al- Dennyeh group" on the other.

Fadlullah forbids helping the US to attack Iraq
A "Fatwa" (a religious instruction) was issued on Monday by the spiritual leader of the Shiite community in Lebanon Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah provided for forbidding supporting the US in a likely attack against Iraq, according to a statement issues by the Sheikh's press office.

One Lebanese lady killed in an explosion in the eastern suburb of Beirut
One Lebanese woman was killed on Sunday and her daughter was greatly wounded in an explosion in an area situated in the Eastern suburb of Beirut, according to the Lebanese police source. The explosion took place on Sunday in Batshai village in Baabda area where the Lebanese presidential palace is situated.
