Lebanon rejects American statements, Hizbullah party has no connection to weapons ship

Syria provides electricity to Lebanon at an agreement between Miro, al-Hariri
The London- based al-Hayat daily said in its Wednesday's issue that the Syrian prime minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro agreed with his Lebanese counterpart Rafiq al-Hariri to re-provide Syrian electricity to Lebanon through the two lines of al-Deimas Anjar and Tartous- Deir Nabouh, after the completion of the maintenance works carried out by the Syrian side and completed on Wednesday.

Lebanese government hands over a Kuwaiti to the American authorities
The Lebanese government on Wednesday approved an American request stated to hand over the Kuwaiti citizen Muhammad Hassan al-Hammoud ( has an American nationality) to the American authorities. Al-Hammoud is wanted by the American judiciary over financial and falsifying crimes.

The Lebanese paper " al-Kifah al-Arabi" said in its Saturday issue that the secretariat of the Libyan African unity has informed the secretary general of the Arab league officially to draw back its consent to convene the next Arab summit in Beirut and asked for holding it in another Arab country.
