Syrian source statement on differences between Lahoud and al-Hariri
A Syrian official source has commented on what has been rumored on the existence of disputes between the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud and his prime minister Rafik al- Hariri.

Lebanese President Emil lahoud on Thursday received the Speaker of the Lebanese parliament Nabih Berri and discussions between them dealt with the Lebanese position which rejects settling the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.

Lahoud renews rejection of settling the Palestinians in Lebanon
Lebanese President Emil lahoud on Sunday stressed that Lebanon is committed to the right of the Palestinians' return back to their lands and the establishment of their own independent state with Jerusalem as a capital, noting that he will not accept under any condition to settle the Palestinians in Lebanon.
