Lebanese security sources reported that Israeli artillery positioned in Abu Qamha targeted the hills surrounding the western Bekaa area, particularly al-Jabbour and Abu Rashed. The bombardment was accompanied by heavy machine-gun fire aimed at roads leading to the said areas.
