Lebanese - Syrian summit to address election issues
Lebanese sources in Cairo stated today that a Lebanese - Syrian summit will be held during the next few hours before the beginning of the constitutional period Tuesday for electing a new president for Lebanon before the end of President Elias Hrawi's term on November 24.

Lebanese resistance carries out operations against Israeli troops
The operations came in retaliation for the escalated Israeli aggressions against the Lebanese villages in the south. In a statement the resistance said one of its groups attacked a SLA position in al-Qasir. The resistance forces carried out a 20-minute battle with personnel at the position, and the confrontation resulted in achieving direct hits and destroying the position's frontal fortifications.
