al-Bayan: News on resignation of the Kuwaiti crown prince next week
The United Arab Emirates UAE al-Bayan daily quoted on Friday members of the ruling family in Kuwait as saying that the Kuwaiti crown prince Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah will resign his post when he comes back from London next week.

Member of the Kuwaiti ruling family Sheikh Salem al-Ali al-Sabah, the chairman of the national guard and the fourth in the hierarchy of the royal family, called on Monday for a team leadership in the rule, so as to put an end to constitutional violations and corruption.

Kuwaiti parliamentarians call for protecting a mosque
Two Kuwaiti Shiite parliamentarians asked the authorities to ensure protection for a Shiite mosque which was exposed to an attack last Friday. Parliamentarian Saleh Ashour said that 50 persons, most of them are young people, set fire in a car in front of the mosque in al-Jahra city and threw stones at worshippers.
