Political sources in Kuwait expected yesterday that Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah will issue a decree for separating the two posts of the crown prince and the prime minister which are currently assumed by the crown prince.

Political sources in Kuwait said that Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah intends to seperate the office of prime minister held by Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah from his authority as Crown Prince in preparation to implement a series of political reforms following the parliamentary elections held last Saturday.
