An explosion in the petro-chemical factory in Kuwait
Production operations in the Kuwaiti al-Shueiba refinery whose oil production is 200,000 barrels daily, was not affected by the explosion that took place on Wednesday in a nearby petro- chemical factory, in the most recent incident that shakes the oil sector in Kuwait.

Ramadan commends new rapprochement with Kuwait
The Iraqi vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan has stressed that what was achieved between Kuwait and Iraq during the recent Arab summit conference in Beirut as the first step on the right path, that relations between the two states should be, because they are "two sisterly and neighbor states."
