Dr. Omran Hassan Muhammad, a researcher at the Kuwaiti Institute for Scientific Research on Wednesday tied himself to steel bars in front of the Kuwaiti Journalists Union and chanted slogans denouncing the U.S. and Israeli policy, saying they violate the rights of Arabs and Muslims.

Jordanian prisoners home free from Kuwait
Six Jordanian prisoners freed by the Kuwaiti authorities arrived yesterday evening at Jordanian airport in Amman, among them was one woman. The Jordanians were released as per an amnesty issued by Kuwaiti Emir.
