Jordan blocks newspaper over story on 'secret' Palestinian plan
The Committee to Protect Journalists spoke yesterday of Fahd al-Rimawi, editor of the weekly Al-Majd, telling CPJ that security agents moved Sunday to prevent printing of the edition because of a front-page story about a "secret plan" to oust the Hamas-led Palestinian government.

Jordan information law limits access instead of facilitating it
Arab Archives Institute (AAI), Amman, said that on 25 April 2007, the Lower House of Parliament endorsed a draft access to information law that gives government wide powers to control information flow and deprives citizens of access to basic information.
