Jordanian King concludes a historical visit to Tehran Khameini, the Americans have to leave Iraq
The Jordanian king Abdullah II yesterday ended a historical visit to Iran that lasted for two days and was the first by a Jordanian king to Tehran since the launching of the Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979, by meeting with the higher guide of the Islamic revolution of Iran Ayatullah Ali Khamaeni, who called for the evacuation of the American forces from Iraq.

First visit for a Jordanian king in 25 years, Abdullah in Tehran to open a new page
Jordan's King Abdullah II yesterday started a historical visit to Iran which was the first by a Jordanian King since 25 years, aiming at closing a long file of separation between the two countries and furnishing for a new phase as well as to crystallize a joint position concerning Iraq, discuss developments in the Palestinian territories and aim to sign a security agreement between the two countries especially in confrontation of al-Qaida organization.

A Jordanian judicial source stressed that the handing over memorandum issued since 1990 against member of the Iraqi interim governing council, Ahmed Chalabi, who is accused of being behind the collapse of the Petra Bank and financial misdealing is still valid, and that its validity ends when Chalabi is arrested.

Jordanian king visits Iran tomorrow for the first time
An official in the Jordanian Royal palace said yesterday that the Jordanian King Abdullah II will pay a visit tomorrow ( Tuesday), his first visit, to Iran since he assumed rule in Jordan in 1999 to discuss conditions in the region and discuss bilateral relations, foremost being encouraging Iranian religious tourism to Jordan.

Jordanian king to visit Paris
A Jordanian official source announced that Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marwan Muasher left Amman yesterday for Paris in a two day visit aiming at preparing for the visit of the Jordanian King Abdullah II to France by the beginning of October.

al-Rai: Jordan freezes 500 million dollars for former Iraqi officials
A Jordanian official source said that Jordan has frozen Iraqi assets estimated at 500 million dollars deposited in Jordanian banks in the names of "Iraqis who follow the former regime," or "in the name of the regime" during the war against Iraq.
