Al-Jaafari extends emergency law in Iraq
Iraq's new Prime minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari on Friday issued a decision extending the state of emergency imposed in all parts of Iraq with the exception of Kurdistan district for 30 days.

US bombarded in al-Qaem city
The American war planes on Friday bombarded positions suspected to be for gunmen in al-Qaem city and the surrounding areas to the west of Iraq. A statement by the American army on Friday said that the military operations in the area adjoining the Syrian borders is continuous for the 6th running day.
