The governor of Musil, in the north of Iraq, announced the closure of the five bridges on the Tigris which link the two parts of the city, following the explosion which targeted the food hall in an American base in the city and resulted in killing and wounding scores, most of them Americans.

Continued attacks in Iraq
During the few past hours, attacks and explosions continued in various parts of Iraq. News reports quoted medical sources in Abu Ghreib area hospital to the west of Baghdad that five Iraqis from one family were killed and other two injured in this area when the car they were riding ran over an explosive that was implanted on an agricultural land.
