Continued American bombardment of Musil
The American forces in Musil bombarded positions of the gunmen in this city which is situated to the north of Iraq. One American military spokeswoman said that the operation covered air raids and land attacks targeted aggregation for the gunmen in certain areas of the city.

18 US soldiers were killed in Falluja
The American forces said that 18 American soldiers and five Iraqi soldiers were killed since the beginning of the large scale attack against Falluja city on Monday. A spokesman for these forces said that 69 American soldiers and 34 Iraqi soldiers were also injured in the fighting.

Two messages from Allawi to Mubarak and Abdullah
The Saudi official news agency said that the Iraqi foreign minister Hoshiar Zebari yesterday made an undeclared visit to Saudi Arabia and was received there by the Saudi crown prince Abdullah and handed him over a message from the Iraqi prime minister Eyad Allawi. Hundreds of armed men control al-Ramada downtown
Near Falluja, to its east, Iraqi police sources and witnesses said that hundreds of gunmen gathered in the downtown of al-Ramadi and took their positions in the area, while the north west quarters of the city witnessed violent clashes and explosions were heard near one American base to the east of al-Ramadi.
