Bomb exploded in a Baghdad street; Saddam Hussein to be transfered
A car bomb exploded in a Baghdad street on Tuesday as a convoy of US police drove past, killing two Iraqi bystanders, police said. They said a bodygaurd of Iraqi minister of state Adnan al-Janabi was killed along with a six-year-old boy. Janabi himself was not in the area.

Eight Iraqis were killed in different attacks; Iraqi group kills Korean hostage
One armed group in Iraq calling itself al-Tawhid and al-Jihad group executed its threat by killing a southern Korean citizen held as a hostage. The group gave Seoul government a period of 24 hours to withdraw its forces from Iraq and abstain from sending additional forces.

The American occupation forces announced that two members of the Iraqi national guards were killed and other 14 injured in an attack by explosives that took place yesterday in Baghdad.

Al-Sader was invited to take part in the Iraqi national congress
Chairman of the Higher commission for preparation to the Iraqi national congress, Fouad Masoum, said that the Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sader will be among 1000 Iraqi figures who will be invited to take part in the Iraqi national congress which will be held by the end of July.

Allawi assumes the security file and occupation forces promise to hand over Saddam
Chairman of the Provisional Iraqi government, Eyad Allawi, announced he will assume the responsibility of the security file in Iraq by himslef after assuming authority in Iraq and that emergency law might be imposed in certain Iraqi areas, if it is necesary.
