UN ends oil for food program that controlled Iraq's assets
The UN secretary general Kofi Annan announced on Thursday that the UN is still determined to continue its support to the Iraqi people. He said during a meeting to the UN Security Council "we have completed the oil-for-food program but are still determined to continue providing aid to the Iraqi people who have been suffering since a long time, by all means that are still available to us."
