Mohammed Baqer al-Hakim killed in bomb explosion; wide condemnations
Abdul-Aziz Al-Hakim, has asserted death of his brother Leader of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, Mohammed Baqer al-Hakim. During a phone call with Lebanese Al-Manar TV on Friday, Abdul-Aziz asserted his brother's death in the bombing took place in Najaf yesterday.

First attack against the Bulgarians in Iraq
The central American leadership announced that one American soldier was killed and other three wounded in an attack in which anti- tank RPJ missiles were used in al-Sueidat area near Baqouba city to the north of Baghdad. Witnesses said the attack targeted an American convoy in the area.
