Talibani: the next Iraqi government will not establish relations with Israel
In a press interview, the chairman of the Kurdistani National Federation, Jalal al-Talibani, said the attacks against the American occupation forces in Iraq "are not organized resistance" and are limited to certain areas of Sunni majority, while the Kurdish areas in the north and the Shiite in the south are characterized of being calm.

One American killed; 11 Iraqis killed in clashes with US forces
The US occupation forces announced they killed 11 Iraqi resistance fighters while trying to implant an ambush for a military patrol near Balad town to the north of Baghdad, in a clash which is the largest with Iraqi resistance since the collapse of Saddam Hussein regime, it came just hours following an attack by the resistance by mortars against an American base in the same area resulted in wounding 18 American soldiers.

Explosions in Iraq: scores killed, wounded
The Iraqis yesterday had two bloody incidents, the first was near al-Haditha city where scores were killed in an ammunition warehouse and the second in al-Falouja, which is rebellious against the Americans, where 3 explosions took place and resulted in killing 8 persons and 15 wounded, including Fiqh ( Islamic jurisprudence students), a mosque Imam, speculated to be a result of American air raids.

The British daily Sunday Times said yesterday that the chief of staff of the Iraq's disbanded Republican Guards army units in the former Iraqi regime of Saddam Hussein, Seif Eddine Faleih Hassan Taha al-Rawi, is hiding in a small city in the heart of the desert after he had pretended he was dead and organized a fake funeral for himself.
