Al-Anbaa: Pentagon develops Fox base on the Kuwaiti- Iraqi borders to include 20,000 soldiers
The Kuwaiti daily al-Anbaa said that the US defense department allotted 300 million dollars to develop the Fox base at the Kuwaiti- Iraqi borders with the aim to lessen its military presence in Iraq.

American military sources said that the US forces have arrested one of the main aides of the toppled Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, his Secretary, Hameed hammoud al-Takreiti, ranked fourth on the list of 55 most wanted persons of former Iraqi officials, following Saddam Hussein and his two sons Ode and Qusai.

The curator of Baghdad's museum, Mrs. Nawal al-Mitwallu, said in a statement to the German Magazine Der Spiegel in its yesterday issue that about 10,000 pieces including 47 rare antiquities have disappeared during looting operations against the National Museum in Baghdad.

Two Iraqi killed, nine arrested in al-Ramadi, explosions against US forces in Falouja
News reports in Baghdad said that three large explosions shook the American forces leadership position in Falouja to the west of Baghdad. This came at a time when the American forces are carrying a campaign in the area aiming at eliminating pockets of Iraqi resistance there.
