Iraq demands end to UN sanctions

Annan, Sabri to meet by the beginning of May
The UN has announced that its secretary general Kofi Annan will meet with the Iraqi foreign minister Naji Sabri by the beginning of May in order to continue dialogue between the two sides on the future of the relations between the two sides and the fate of the question of the UN inspectors, while Iraq will start by the end of April a new political campaign to prevent the UN Security Council from imposing new sanctions.
