Turkey raises diplomatic representation with Iraq
Turkish diplomatic sources have announced that Ankara will delegate its new ambassador to Baghdad by the beginning of next year after it had taken a decision to raise its diplomatic representation with Iraq.

A Syrian committee to lift the embargo imposed on Iraq
It was announced on Monday in Damascus the formation of the Syrian committee to lift the sanctions imposed on Iraq. The committee includes several intellectuals, men of letters and writers and university teachers and "aims at lifting the sanctions which constitutes a war of extermination against the Iraqi people of whom so far some 1.5 million died of hunger and medicine shortage."
