UN's special envoy visits Baghdad
Prakask Shah, the special envoy of the UN's secretary-general, is visiting Baghdad to resume talks concerning the crisis between Iraq the United Nations over weapons inspections.

The assistant secretary-general of the Arab League, Ahmed Bin Hali, stated that Iraq has implemented the resolutions of the UN Security Council, and nothing remains outstanding except a small portion of the agreement, asserting that Iraq is suffering from the sanctions.
