Baghdad says U.S. spreading lies about its nuclear capability
The spokesman elaborated on the story of the Pakistani scientist by saying that a Greek person in the middle of 1990 proposed an offer to the Iraqi authorities to provide Iraq with samples of nuclear weapons manufacture, claiming he would get it from the Pakistani scientist, but "the Iraqi authorities neglected the offer on its conviction that the whole story was an intelligence trick."

More Emirates aid planned for Iraq
The United Arab Emirates' Red Crescent Association has said that a new cargo of humanitarian aid will be sent to Iraq. Naser El-Sweedi, the chairman of the association's board of directors said that this aid will be sent according to the instructions of Sheikh Hamdan Ben Zayed al-Nahyan, the Emirate's state minister of the association.

Jordan delivers medical aid to Iraqi hospitals
Jordanian Minister of Health Dr. Ashraf Kurdi is to head a Jordanian delegation to visit Iraq. The delegation will include several senior economic personalities and physicians. They will attend the opening ceremony of the Jordanian Medical Week in Iraq.

Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz launched a strong attack today against the Arab countries by saying they "have became a toy in the hand of the US." He said that UN economic sanctions could be lifted if the Arab countries took a collective decision not to honor them.
