In its today's issue, the London- based " al-Muharrir al-Arabi" daily said that Washington investigates in a report it had received on late Wednesday night stating that Ariel Sharon told officers of the Israeli army who came to congratulate him on winning the Israeli elections as a prime minister that he will not hesitate to occupy key parts of Sinai if he finds out that the Egyptians are backing the operations of smuggling weapons and fighters to Gaza sector.
