Foreign minister of Comoros Islands will assume the power after 6 months
The foreign minister of the Comoros Islands, Mohammed El-Amin Deif, stated that the government intends to abandon its rule after it succeeds in establishing constitutional and legitimate basis for politics in the islands in a period of six months.

AL team to Comoros calls for formulating new African stand toward coup
The fact-finding commission delegated by the Arab League to Comoros called on Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid to hold consultations with the secretary general of the Organisation of African Unity, Salem Ahmad Salem, on the sidelines of the African summit in Algeria in order to formulate a new position in dealing with the ruling regime in Comoros.
