Bahrain: clashes between the police and demonstrators on Martyr day
The police in Bahrain yesterday detained four demonstrators during a massive demonstration in Snibes quarters, near the capital al-Manama, called upon by "the national committee for the martyrs and victims of torture in Bahrain" to deplore previous human rights violations in the country.

Bahrain opposition calls for restoring back the constitution of 1973
The Bahraini opposition in Britain has called on King of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to resort back to enact the constitution of 1973 and to stop violations of human rights which it says that the citizens of Bahrain are exposed to.

Bahraini parliamentarians intend to propose law for licensing political parties
First Deputy of Bahrain's Parliament Speaker, Abdul-Hadi Ahmad Marhoum, said that the bloc of the democratic nationalist parliamentarians which includes him together with the two parliamentarians Abdul Nabi Salman and Youssef Zeinal will propose a draft bill for permiting the foundation of political parties in Bahrain.
