One Jew and four women, including one Christian at Bahrain's Shoura council
Bahrain's News agency reported on Wednesday reported that among members of the new 40-member Bahrain's Shoura council are four women including one Christian, one Jew and one businessman of Indian origin.

Bahraini women at the Shoura council for the first time
It has become evident that the Emir's decree to form a new Shoura council in Bahrain will be issued by the end of this week and that the new members will take their constitutional oath before Bahrain's prince Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa on September 30 and the council's first session will be held on October 3rd.
