Emir of Bahrain concludes visit to Syria
The Emir of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al- Khaleifa left Damascus on Wednesday following a two-day official visit to Damascus. He was seen off at the airport by Syrian President Hafez al-Assad and high-ranking Syrian officials.

Al-Assad, emir of Bahrain hold talks in Damascus
Sheikh Hamad arrived in Damascus on Tuesday on an official visit to the country. Talks dealt with situations in the region and the Arab arena, developments concerning efforts exerted to relaunch the Middle East peace process, bilateral relations and the joint desire to develop these relations.
