30 killed, 36 wounded in explosion at Algerian market
The new "prince of the armed Islamic group" Rasheed Abu Turab vowed to continue the extremist line of his predecessor Antar Zabrawi and others of the leaders of this group until the foundation of the Islamic state in Algeria. In the statement on the occasion of his appointment he said "no dialogue, no reconciliation. Rather blood, blood and the sword is the deciding element."

Paris attorney did not ask for punishing 'dirty war' book author
The attorney general in Paris on Friday did not ask for any sort of punishment against Habib Sawadeyah, the author of "the dirty war" on the Algerian civil war, who has been sued by the former Algerian defense minister Khaled Nizar for defamation.

Morocco continues efforts for unconditional release of all Moroccans sequestered in Tindouf
The Moroccan government shall carry on efforts through all channels concerned with humanitarian issues, governmental and non-governmental organizations, to urge them work for the immediate and unconditional release of all Moroccans sequestered in Tindouf, said Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa.

The chief of staff of Algeria's people's national army (ANP), the head of staff of the army corps Mohamed Lamari asserted Tuesday that his country "has nothing to reproach Morocco with regarding the arming or any other backing to terrorism."
