Algerian front reiterates support for Palestinian cause
The central committee of the Algerian national liberation front party has renewed its support and backing for the Palestinian cause and called on the international community to shoulder its responsibility as peace can not be attained in the region without the establishment of the independent Palestinian state.

The Algerian dailies issued on Thursday said that 24 persons including 8 policemen, were wounded on Tuesday in clashes that took place in al-Qabayel district.

Butaflika to discuss association agreement with the European Union
The Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika headed for Belgium in an official visit to take part in the meeting which will include the Presidents of Nigeria and South Africa with officials in the European Union in order to discuss the African " renewal " initiative, previously proposed by the three African heads of states.

Football match canceled between Algeria, France because of acts of riots
The first international football game between France and Algeria took place on Saturday evening was canceled in Paris after Algerian supporters got into the playground of the stadium when the match was taking place.
