Algerian Hamas Movement accusations of terrorism are baseless
The leader of the Algerian Hamas Movement, Sheikh Mahfouz Nehnah, stated that his movement is very keen on preserving Algeria's institutions which requires everybody's help. He added that the accusations that security forces are involved in terrorist acts are baseless.

Algerian ceasefire broken by AIS
Reports from Algeria say 10 AIS guerrillas shot and killed a government militiaman at Tayelmane in Al Ansar zone of Jijel, 150 miles east of Algeris last Monday--13 days after the AIS declared a unilateral ceasfire.

Algeria sets up security offices in ministries and government institutions
The Algerian Government started implementing some security measures to protect the government insitutions. The Algerian Cabinet decided to start these measures after the Interior Minister Moustafa Bin Mansour submitted a new proposal of the security plan to the Cabinet.
