Bouteflika's envoy to Togo

Ambassador Abd El-Kader Meshal, the special envoy of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, current chairman of the Organization of African Unity, left Algeria yesterday to visit Togo's President Gnassingbe Eyadema to convey a message to him that tackles the latest developments in West Africa and the situation in Cote D'Ivoire.
The Algerian envoy will undertake a similar mission to OAU Secretary General Salem Ahmed Salem at the organization's headquarters in Addis Ababa.
