Turkish security renews its accusation that Armenia and Iran back Ocalan's party
Turkey-Regional, Politics, 12/31/1999
The most recent report by the Turkish security body renewed its accusation that Armenian and Iran back the prohibited Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) in Turkey.
The report, obtained by ArabicNews.com, said that Armenia, which has no diplomatic relations with Turkey, still allows the party's members to stay and train in its lands in a public way despite the recent efforts for reconciliation with Ankara.
The report accused Iran of providing training services and treatment for these elements in addition to allowing them to sneak into northern Iraq, from which they enter Turkey and sometimes to sneak directly into the Turkish lands.
