Moroccan honey annual production estimated at 10,000 tons

National honey production is estimated at an annual 10,000 tons, according to estimates by specialized newsletter "Moroccan bee" in its latest edition.
National honey production is entirely consumed locally, with small quantities of orange honey exported. The newsletter also forecasts that Morocco could export a part of "excellent quality" honey if some technical problems facing bee keepers are settled.
