Italian education minister concludes his visit to Libya

Italian Minister of Education Luigi Berlinguer will leave Tripoli tomorrow morning after a four-day visit to Libya.
The Italian minister held discussions during his visit with Libyan officials on enhancing cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of education and scientific research.
This visit comes in the frame of the continuous progress being made in Libyan - Italian relations, especially since the visit of Italian Foreign Minister Alberto Dini to Tripoli on April 6, one day after the suspension of UN sanctions that were imposed on due to the Lockerbie case since 1992.
