Egypt's stock exchange, sixth emerging market

Having a distinguished performance, the Egyptian stock exchange was among the best 15 world bourses in realizing revenues last November, for a second successive month.

In November last, the relative evaluation of the Egyptian market was highly raised in the indicators of the International Finance Establishment, registering 0.91%, 0.76% against 0.58%, 0.47% in October.

Egypt is the sixth among 34 emerging markets in realizing monetary revenues, as it registered 4.3%, in addition to a low profit multiple of 4.7, the second least profit multiple among the emerging markets.

According to the International Finance Establishment, the Egyptian bourse is still registering a low-risk element of 1.01%, in comparison to the other emerging markets.

In the IFCG's 10 indicators concerning the Middle East and Africa, Egypt is the fourth, realizing 5.35% against 3.25% in October. In the IFCI's 6 indicators concerning the Middle East and Africa, Egypt is the third, registering 6.41% against 3.64% in October.

According to the monthly report of the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, Egypt's market capital was raised to 30.5 billion US dollars against 28.1 billion US dollars in September, thus ranked the nineteenth among 33 emerging markets.

Egypt is the first in realizing monetary revenues from April to October. It is the second in registering companies, realizing 1013 in October against 1004 in September. It registered $831 million, with an average of 41.5 per day in October against $684.6 million with a daily average of $31.1 million in September.
