Mubarak, King Abdullah discuss Arab issues in a telephone talk

King Abdullah II of Jordan on Tuesday received a telephone call from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, during which the two leaders reviewed several Arab and international issues, especially the Middle East peace process, and the latest developments concerning them.
The Jordanian king and President Mubarak voiced total backing for the efforts currently being made to achieve progress on all peace tracks, stressing the importance of backing Syria, Lebanon and the Palestinians in order to achieve a just and lasting peace in the Middle East.
