Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika will pay a visit to Saudi Arabia at the end of the holy month of Ramadan to perform al-Omra rituals, visit the prophet's mosque and hold talks with King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

The Algerian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Muhammad Taqeih, said in a statement to the Saudi daily Okaz published on Tuesday that the visit of the Algerian president to Saudi Arabia will be an opportunity to exchange viewpoints with the Saudi leadership towards various issues of concern to the friendly relations between the two states and to review all Arab and Islamic issues.

Ambassador Taqeih stressed the remarkable relations between Algeria and Saudi Arabia, noting the two visits paid by Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and Saudi Defense Minister Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz to Algeria and the contribution of the two visits to strengthening bilateral relations between the two states.
