Qatari - Bahraini summit convened today

Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani will pay a one-day official visit to Bahrain today, his first to Bahrain since he assumed power in Qatar in 1995.
During his visit, Sheikh Hamad will hold talks with Bahraini Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa on bilateral relations.
The Emir's divan in Bahrain said the visit of the emir of Qatar comes at the invitation of the emir of Bahrain and that the two leaders will hold talks dealing "with existing brotherly relations between the two sisterly peoples and countries," as well as the latest developments in the Arab Gulf arena and issues of mutual concern.
