Yemen denies Israeli investments
Yemen, Politics, 12/28/1999
Yemen has renewed its denial of the existence of any sort of normalization with Israel before achieving a just and comprehensive peace and the restoration of Arab rights to their owners.
Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdul Qader Bajmal said there are no relations of any sort between Yemen and Israel, political or commercial. He also denied reports on current Israeli investments in Yemen at the present.
Bajmal added those who speak about such relations with Israel know the actual reality, adding that his country's position towards relations with Israel is crystal clear. "We are with the Palestinian people for restoring their full rights and the establishment of the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as a capital and with our Syrian and Lebanese brothers to restore their lands occupied by Israel."
