Abdul Meguid receives Butros Ghali

Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid received Butros Butros Ghali, secretary general of the international Francophony organization, yesterday.
Ghali, after the meeting, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two organizations in all fields and of convening a series of symposiums to address the discussion between the Francophonic culture and Arab culture. He said the coming conference of the organization will be held in the Lebanese capital at the end of 2001, adding the AL will have an effective role in the conference.
