Gaddafi sends messages to Bouteflika, Annan

Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi on Sunday sent messages to Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, who is also the current chairman of the Organization of African Unity, United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and OAU Secretary General Salem Ahmad Salem in which he gave briefings on the results of the African mini-summit recently held in Tripoli.
The Libyan news agency, JANA, said that Gaddafi briefed Bouteflika, Annan, and Salem on the agreements signed during the summit between Sudan and Uganda, Sudan and Eritrea and the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda.
The agreements call for the restoration of natural relations, the end of all forms of tension and the resumption of air navigation among these countries.
