Egyptian ambassador in Sudan in weeks

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa announced the arrival of the new Egyptian ambassador to Sudan in Khartoum during the coming weeks.
Moussa confirmed US - Egyptian communications to discuss the Sudanese problem, expressing his hope of starting the joint Sudanese - Egyptian ministerial committee soon. He said there is conformity in the points of view between Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir concerning Sudan's unity and territorial integrity.
During his meeting on Saturday in Cairo with El-Sadek El-Mahdi, chief of the opposition Sudanese Ummah Party, Moussa was to discuss efforts for national reconciliation in Sudan.
